My Social Media Struggles-How I Stay True to Myself at 173 Mercantile

Ugh, social media. All those perfect smiles, flawless outfits, and lives that seem effortlessly breezy.
Let's be honest, who actually lives like that? Not me. I do, however, enjoy taking a great photo, making a fun reel, and crafting a fun and toned caption.
Running 173 Mercantile is messy, chaotic, and sometimes involves questionable coffee stains (don't ask!).
But hey, that's the realness I want to share. No perfectly coiffed hair, no Insta-worthy makeup (unless it's accidentally smeared mascara), just authentic me navigating the ups and downs of small business life.
The truth is, putting myself out there is HARD. Stepping in front of the camera, sharing vulnerabilities, and owning every imperfection takes guts.
But here's the thing: connection over curation. I crave real relationships with people who appreciate the hustle, the humor, and the humanness behind the brand.
So, if you see me rocking messy hair, sporting zero eyeshadow, or laughing at my own clumsiness – that's me, unfiltered and unashamed.
I'm not here to pretend, just to connect. Join me on this journey, messy hair and all! Remember, you're not alone in the hustle.
P.S. Come visit 173 Mercantile! We've got fun gifts, blooming plants, and maybe even a story about that coffee incident.
